The "erudite" used to say "there are no absolutes." Apart from the obvious contradiction that the phrase is an absolute, there are absolutes now. I admire Rowling for not backing down. She spoke some simple obvious truths (only women menstruate, only women can give birth) and for that is being pilloried by the trans community. Of course, she has a billion dollars so is far above being damaged by the assault fo the loons.
