Say what you will about GWTW, it is a great flick. And Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara is one of the greatest characters in film history.
The others listed:
Blazing Saddles
Soul Man
Tropic Thunder
Unplanned
Sixteen Candles
Dirty Harry
Animal House

I have been watching some old “Law and Order” episodes.
While most of them tried to be politically correct, a few of them (different writers, maybe) had some nasty black criminals that probably could not be shown today.

Blazing Saddles - all the white people were crooks, racists, morons, hookers or gay except the pot smoking hippie. I don’t think the left has a problem with it.

Tropic ThunderI was waiting for when Robert Downey Jr would get called out for his role in that, that, that superb masterpiece of film. :)
PS - I had no idea that was Tom Cruise the first time I saw it.

How about Undercover Brother?

How about Death Wish? There is the line something like, “should we encourage more whites to be muggers so we can have racial equality among muggers?”

I got my copy of Disney’s “Song of the South” a few years ago, so I am good. Oh, and “Bumfights”, I got that one too.

Briefly stopped on Boston talker Howie Carr.
He pointed out that GWTW had the first black Oscar winner, Hattie McDaniel.
