let me get this straight. This guy was a security guard at Home depot, burned down the 3rd Precinct then tried to play cop with equipment looted from the 3rd Precinct fire.

Could it be that he bought a cheap knife at a flea market that says POLICE on the grip?

I have a Gerber Automatic knife (Switchblade). It’s illegal to carry in many areas, including where I live unless you have certain credentials. Police is one of those. However, the average reporter isn’t smart enough to figure that out.

Speaking of figuring stuff out, where I live, the knife law states that you cannot carry a switchblade with the intent to harm someone.

I’ve been trying to figure out for years just how prior intent is proved by having a knife in your pocket.
