Allergy season typically follows a calendar: tree pollen in the early spring, grass pollen in the early summer, with a little bit of overlap, then ragweed in the fall.
But now Cleveland allergy sufferers are getting a double whammy due to late spring cold temperatures and snow. Tree pollen season and grass pollen season are now on top of each other.
That means for people who are allergic to both pollens, its double the misery: itchy eyes, nose and throat, sneezing and congestion. The Cleveland Clinic says patients are experiencing worse symptoms than normal...But for some, the misery may not end. Whoopee, allergies are going to be bad in the fall too. I can't wait.
Ever get an allergy coughing fit while in a store and you're one of the only people not wearing a mask?
I find Altoids are better than cough drops and work faster.
Off to the store to get more of them.
YES! Coughing, sneezing.. feel like I need a shirt that says Its just allergies
Exactly.
I cough up crap every morning. Runny nose comes later in the day. Always starts early Spring and lasts for several months. I haven’t historically been an allergy person.
And it ain’t the COVID.
The Covid19-bandana really does help when strolling through high pollen areas or cleaning the chicken house.

Seems much worse this year.
It’s been bad this year.
Allergy double-whammy not great, but here in No.VA we haven’t had mosquitos until the last couple days. Would usually have been inundated w/ them by early May.
I’ve had to wash my car every other day on account of the pollen building up on it. Fortunately I have no allergies and actually like to breathe in the pollen so that it coats my lungs. I’m thinking that’s good for me.
Altoids are great... always have a good supply on hand. The Halls Mentho-Lyptus drops are pretty good too.
