As far as I can tell, Americans never referred to our enemies as fascists. But one country did use the term almost exclusively—the Soviet Union. The Left in this country is betraying its intellectual roots by trying to compare D-Day troops to the Antifa thugs.
My Dad fought at the Battle of the Bulge, Purple Heart recipient. He didn’t fight so my First Amendment rights could be silenced. To see the WWll Memorial defaced was heartbreaking.

She just pissed on the graves of every American solider who fell at Normandy. I’m sure she knows that, but I’m also sure that she doesn’t care. It works for the self-styled elite, but truly ignorant and twisted types, who make up her audience. Is it working among a certain set because I have seen plenty of excuses for and defenses of Antifa during the George Floyd riots. Some white guys are seen instigating rioting and looting and participating in it but, of course, that CAN’T be Antifa; they’re white, so they MUST be white supermacists. Never mind Antifa’s record of violence in the past.
If there is anything I can’t stand, it’s a shameless GD liar. And I’m tired of non-communist, non-terrorist, non-thug, regular patriotic Americans — the kind of people who made this country, the kind who fought and died at Normandy — being called Nazis. I’m reminded of William F. Buckley’s threat to Gore Vidal when Vidal called him a proto-Nazi. I wish Buckley would have followed through on the threat, because that is, or at least has become, the proper response. I’ve had enough of the scum who want to destroy this country.
