I think they may have arrest powers if they’re Marshalls.
You do not want to fool with federal marshals. They are amazing. They protect the judges and anyone involved with the courts, the jurors and witnesses. I’ve seen them involved with protecting international people. Not sure why they do that. You do not want to fool with them. They are tough and they are serious.
FYI, US Marshals has only ONE “L”.
And YES, all US Marshals whether full-time or “Specials” have FULL ARREST powers.
