You do realize that this new effort to remove LOCAL police has been in the works for years, right? Once the Democrats are in charge, they plan on nationalizing all police forces, which will allow them to control their mission regardless of the local citizens’ wishes. Brownshirts, if you will.

I’m just simply pointing out a statistic that one can use to when debating someone who says the police are racist.
And when they say the problem of police racism and the need for blacks in inner cities to be protected by the thugs in their own neighborhood can be solved with a private or national police force, I will ask why such a force can be trusted to come to the aid of innocent blacks who are best by thugs.
Or better yet, I will ask them if they trust this national police force to disproportionately respond to calls made by blacks for help and to be slow to respond to calls made by others in other neighborhoods, such as their own nice, white suburban neighborhood.

That is absolutely correct. They won’t be without a civilian law enforcement. They’ll nationalize it.
