A series of strawman arguments. Dershowitz is saying that you cannot endanger your fellow citizens. Whether you have insurance is irrelevant to that point.
I think what he is saying is that the Constitution does not block state legislatures from mandating a vaccine.
The Constitution is about limiting what the federal government can do. In most cases (per the 10th Amendment) the Constitution gives the states a lot of power. Since the Constitution does not mention medicine or vaccines, it has limited ability to protect us from a mandatory vaccine at the state level.
The law has provided wide protections for the gay community.
Those with AIDS are not subject to legal repercussions now for transmitting the disease without informing potential sex partners.
So much for stopping people from being spreaders.

That may be true, if you actually had the virus. However, you don’t get to disregard peoples rights because of your own fears. We have already seen what can happen to peoples rights when irrational fears take over. This whole shutdown it’s being used to strip people of their rights.
Millions of people will never get this virus. The same way that millions of people never get the flu. Do you want to give forced flu shots too?
It always amazes me when conservatives preach individual rights, and then turn around and defend forced vaccinations.

People with STD'S do that all the time when they have unprecedented sex with others. I don't see anyone forcing them to get emasculated or having them prosecuted.
Not to mention, exactly how effective will a coronavirus vaccine be?
You can't even make a case that those who don't take the vaccine are endangering others and those who don't take the vaccines are not.
For example according to a CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, the current influenza vaccine has only been 45% effective overall against 2019-2020 seasonal influenza A and B viruses.
So what if the government passed a law that said if you were mentally incompetent that you must be sterilized? Oh wait, they did do that in America. If you think that the government should have control over your body then you think like g-d Nazi.
