You don’t have any business being in a house under construction.
What happens if you fall into a basement?
What happens if it catches fire and you’re on the video wandering around the house?
What if you run into a thief who doesn’t want you testifying against him?
There are other crimes like breaking and entering, burglary, theft,etc. Those crimes have certain elements to them that must be proved in order to convict of a crime.
What we seem to have here is three people competing for Darwin Awards. They might all three win.
Nothing in that video gave those two men the right to kill him. Wasn’t even their house.
Evidently these houses were built by wealthy Chinese citizens as a way to move some of their wealth offshore. What was very interesting is that the houses were far fancier than most in the neighborhood. Very nearly like the McMansions being built in Silicon Valley.
I’ll offer a few observations...a saying I used frequently with my kids...”just because you can, doesn’t mean you should”...applies in both cases...just because you “can” walk into homes under construction, it’s obviously not your property and may well in fact be against the law in your state, and if it’s not, it’s really not appropriate as it’s not YOUR property...also, just because state law may allow you to interfere in the commission of a crime, the way you do it may dictate whether you did it the correct way or not...and the last observation, and perhaps the most important...there is a reason why this video was just released for an incident that occurred months prior...think logically, why. And there’s no doubt in my mind none of us has ALL the facts and information...and it will eventually come out.
Remember that the college kids are home in Mom’s basement looking for somebody to mess with on the internet.

If you are going through a house, make sure you are not running after. I’m not sure if he was scoping out the area, but you should call 911. Those morons should be charged. I’m not sure if they are racist, but they are idiots!
Who cares? He could run out with power tools and it wouldn’t give anyone, not even the police, the right to use deadly force. Trying to justify these murderous actions is an exercise in futility.
