Friday on Fox News Channel, “Fox News Sunday,” anchor Chris Wallace said he did not understand why people were “rallying” behind ex-national security adviser Michael Flynn given he lied to the FBI.
Thursday, President Donald Trump said Flynn has been “essentially exonerated” by new documents unsealed in his criminal case.
Wallace said, “And I was kind of surprised that the President said yesterday, ‘Well, maybe I’ll bring him back to the White House.’ It was the President, before any legal case was brought, who fired Flynn because Flynn had lied about his conversation with the Russian ambassador to the Vice President, Mike Pence.

He continued, “So I’m not quite sure I understand why people are all rallying to Flynn’s case. Did the FBI play hardball? Yeah. Guess what? The FBI plays hardball. And guess what? If you are talking to the FBI, and a lot of lawyers would say don’t talk to them unless you have to, don’t lie.”

I thought the notes closest to the interview said he did not lie.
Wallace is ok with corrupt FBI agents framing someone because they that person is in the “wrong” political party. One of those dirty FBI agents was Peter Strzok, who came out of the FBI field office; the same FBI office with a long history of corruption back to the days of running interference *for* the mobster and killer Whitey Bulger.

I have despised Wallace since the Gulf War when, despite strict instructions from the Israeli military, he described neighborhoods where Scud missiles were landing in great detail (thus helping Iraq improve its targeting). They kicked his ass out of the country for that.
WRT Flynn “lying” to the Fibbies, to them and federal prosecutors a lie is when they ask you the same thing 18 different ways over several interviews, and you don’t give the same answer verbatim. That is why you NEVER talk to them.
Chris Wallace evidently does not watch FNC. Tucker and Hannity have been talking about this all of last week.

I quit watching Sunday’s Wallace and Vomit show in 2016. Ignorant, snarky and with an agenda, there’s nothing to be learned that I couldn’t learn elsewhere. His voice makes me cringe. Local FOX news interviews him once a week, a waste of time. That he could say such a thing about Flynn, with everything we now know, proves willful ignorance. Self-righteous fool with no conscience, no spine, no brain.

I guess she doesn’t understand how people rallied to Bill Clinton’s side, either, since he lied in court and blatantly lied to the American people.
