Pressure is mounting for 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden to unseal documents related to his time in the Senate as he faces increased scrutiny for allegations of sexual assault leveled against him by Tara Reade.
Reade, who worked as a Senate staffer for Biden in 1993, has accused the then-senator of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent.
Reade has said that she made harassment complaints to three Biden staffers, none of whom reportedly took action, and that she filed a written complaint with a Senate personnel office in 1993, according to The New York Times.
If Reades story is true, the complaint would likely be held in Bidens Senate records, which are housed by the University of Delaware Library Senate records that cover a wide swath of Bidens political career but are being kept secret until Biden retires from public life.

Did we US Tax Suckers pay her to go away? like they did with others who couldn’t keep it in their pants?
Any records have long since been made to disappear.
Anybody know if Sandy Berger has been to UD?
Who here does not think that those documents were filed in the trash can years ago.
I don’t believe anyone actually inventoried what Sandy Berger stole from the National Archives....
If they destroyed all Sotorro documents you can bet these are ling gone.
Senate records that cover a wide swath of Bidens political career but are being kept secret until Biden retires from public life.
Except in bona fide national security matters no Senate records should be secret.

And while we’re at it, how about giving us the names of the congressmen who paid off their victims with the taxpayer- funded slush fund?
Whatever you do, don’t send Sandy Burglar to go get them.
So Biden gets his Senate records, takes them home, sifts through them, pulls out the bad stuff, then sends them to UofD. Isn’t that the logical thing to do? He had half a mind when he retired from the Senate. I doubt he would have forgotten to do that back then.
Like that filthy late Rep. John Conyers who got us to pay from the secret “no-names” fund for his many escapades.
When they try to force the clerk to show Biden’s sex scandal record file he’ll say “Which one? Which decade, to narrow them down. Gimme a little time, okay? There goes my day.”
If the liberals were to behave the same way as they did for Kavanaugh, then we need a complete investigation, hearings, definitely unsealing documents, etc. etc.
And people such as Senator Blumenthal of Connecticut, will declare that it’s up to Biden to present evidence to prove his innocence, as he did when he said Kavanaugh needs to present evidence of his innocence.
Is Biden waiting for another check to clear?
I’ll take “Lost the week after they were filed” for $1,000.
I wonder about this too.
If Biden, or anyone who has held public office, is so proud of their record of service, etc. why would they keep records secret in the first place?
They will be released only if the DNC decides to replace joe dementia.
So when a senator retires he gets to keep ALL his records in his personal library? There aren’t still official copies in the Capitol? How sweet a deal is that?
why would they keep records secret in the first place?
It shouldnt be permitted. We paid for those records and with very few exceptions we should have the right to see them.
