Good luck convincing my daughter the nurse of that. She is an administrator and isolation nurse here in my county. Her entire shift has been sent home sick, and she was the only one on duty last night watching a full ward of covid patients. I think it's Dr. Flubro that has the tunnel vision. This site says the vaccines were about 40% effective, and that was a very good year. Some years they are only 15% effective.
Note that the deaths from the standard flu are estimates.
The only difference is there is no vaccine for coronavirus.
Although, there is a vaccine for influenza ..and guess what 20-80 thousand people die from it anyhow.

Just think how many would live if they took the vaccine. This virus has already killed more than the annual flu. Before it's over, it will have made flu deaths look insignificant. Viruses need a host to survive. All people would have to do is stop spreading it around and it would go away. This would have been over months ago if everyone had self-quarantined for just two weeks.

Would have been impossible to sell the idea of mass shut down over a virus that early on didn’t seem that bad.
Anyhow, the whole country didn’t have to shut down ..only about 6 states, and even then only specific counties within those states, needed to be prohibited from travelling outside their town limits. That would have contained it.
The rest of us could have continue living fairly normal lives.

Actually the seasonal flu is a heck of a lot more deadly than coronavirus.
For starters vastly more people have been infected by coronavirus than the official figures suggest.
And 2, the number of “coronavirus deaths” is totally fake. Deaths from heart disease cancer diabetes pneumonia and even car accidents are being booked as coronavirus deaths.
Coronavirus is the biggest hoax perpetuated on mankind.
Those who die from the flu are usually the mist vulnerable, who just happened to be exactly the people who take the flu vaccine.
This virus has already killed more than the annual flu.
If you actually believe the fake, totally made up “ coronavirus deaths” figures coming out if New York, New Jersey and Michigan, you need to be committed to an insane asylum.

I’m not a huge fan of shutting down the economy but there were a couple of things that the guys in the video missed.
1- They dont distinguish between what they call “healthy” people and those who are sick but asymptomatic and spread the disease without knowing it. That’s the rationale for locking down everyone. It’s not clear how to deal with that other than widespread testing.
2- They (and everyone else) seems to be ignoring the death rate of Covid. We now have data from 1 million cases in the US that have resulted in 50,000 deaths. That 5% rate is much higher than for the 1918 flu which was ~ 2%. Sure it may be somewhat inflated by wrongly assigning some deaths to covid, but it is still very high.
You’re the one who needs to do some math. Also maybe use your brain.
1. Population of the U.S. was much smaller when Hong Kong flu struck. Adjusting for today’s population would make its death toll 160,000.
2. You’re talking total nonsense. COVID-19 has produced 50,000 death certificates with it listed as either a cause or contributing factor. That isn’t the same thing as producing 50,000 deaths no matter how often you hear it on TV. Start thinking before you regurgitate everything that comes out of it.
3. Even under the best circumstances a good chunk of those certificates would belong to people who would have died then or within a day or two anyway. In fact, death certificates in general are very unreliable. Allegedely a third of them are wrong in significant ways. But circumstances are not even the best. Fauci and Birx have EXPLICITLY SAID that anyone dying with the disease is going to get it put on their death certificate whether or not it was a factor.
80% of C-19 infections have mild symptoms. Half have no sumptoms at all. So conflating dying WITH C-19 and dying FROM it is no small thing. It’s going to cause a lot offalse positive death certificates.
4. The CDC has issued guidelines telling doctors to put C-19 in death certificates even when there’s not test to confirm it was even present so long as they “assume” the patient had it. They don’t need to even have a reason for their assumption.
5. Hospitals are getting huge financial incentives for checking the C-19 box. The federal government is reimbursing them for any uninsured patients they treat who they diagnose with it. And Medicare is paying substantially more for many procedures if the chart says C-19. To take just one of many examples, hospitals get three time as much money using a ventilator if the C-19 box is checked.
6. You’d have to be a moron to think all of that isn’t massively inflating C-19 totals. But,you don’t even need to know about any of that. NYC has just investigated 7,000 alleged C-19 deaths that were confirmed with a test. In 99.2% of them the deceased had at least one other life threatening illness.
99.2%. That’s basically everyone. No one in New York is dying of this unless something else is already killing them.
Death certificates with C-19 listed as a cause of contributing factor wouldn’t be reliable under the best of circumstances. They are totally unreliable in these. The fact is that no one is even trying to determine how many people died of C-19 who would otherwise still be alive. That’s the only number we care about. But instead of giving it to, us they are passing of B.S about the number of death certificates and pretending it’s the same thing when 2 seconds of thought reveals it’s not and an hour of research reveals that death certificate totals have to be massively inflating death totals.
If over 99% of people in NYC who are listed as dying of the virus had another life-threatening illness, it’s not clear it’s even killing anyone regardless of how much your TV says it is. And it certainly didn’t kill 50,000 people.
Stop mindlessly repeating obvious nonsense. Start thinking. God gave you a brain, time to use it.
