Didn’t know they sold on Amazon, but that makes sense. I’ve been buying their products for at least 20 years. If you get on their mailing list, they also have specials from time to time with reduced shipping if you order a certain amount.

I know,..lots of good recipes on the net.

Hard to find those with older touch.

RECIPE TO LIVE BY

Blend in one cup of love and one half cup of kindness, add alternately in small portions one cup of appreciation and three cups of pleasant companionship into which has been sifted three teaspoons of deserving praise.

Flavor with one teaspoon carefully chosen advice.

Lightly fold in one cup of cheerfulness to which has been added a pinch of sorrow. Pour with tender care into clean hearts and let bake until well matured. Turn out on the surface of society. Humbly invoke God's blessing and it will serve all mankind.

Found a Univ of Alaska-COOP Extension Service College, Alaska Sourdough primer F-53 revised 1961 from orig circa June 30, 1914.

I’ll try to type it in here shortly. or scan..

Also provides how to make the starter and how to tan hides with it.

Found a keeper.
“The Fifty-Two Sunday Dinners” balanced menus and economically prepared from 1928 Woman’s World Magazine Co, Inc Chicago Ill., USA.

Has a good recipe for Tomato Bisque if Campbell’s Tomato Soup is out.

Hmmm. Tanning hides? I may have to save learning that skill for the next epidemic.

Curious if others are all sensing a resurgence in home-cooking from scratch.

Not really, we usually cook at home, go out to eat pretty rarely. The last several things made, feel free to ask for any particular recipe:

- Gumbo.
- Enchilada casseroles, pulled too much so ended up making two - one chicken, one beef.
- Breakfast Tacos
- Pancakes
- Sweet Potato/Sausage/Lentil/more soup.
- Mead (3x one-gal batches)
- Fermented pepper salsas
- Tonic syrup
- Spaghetti
- Chicken á la King
- Grilled Pulled Pork Butt
- Grilled brats/veggies/burgers
- Pancit
- And more, but I don't remember exactly

I’ve found the Better Than Bullion pastes to be pretty tasty. Just make sure you get the regular one, the low-sodium version tastes funny.

Wow thanks, I am going to make some. Probably have to use canned tomatoes because all we have in Indy right now are those tasteless phony tomatoes.

As we were cleaning up from brunch today, my husband said,”I feel like we finish one meal and start immediately preparing the next.”.

Check out the Townsends they do 17th and 18th century recipes. They have 1.28 million subscribers. There are also many depression era and rural southern cooks that are keeping those things alive. Try Cowboy Kent Rawllins for some great western cooking out of a chuck wagon.

Of course there are tons of KETO cooks on line that provide you with recipes to combat Diabetes.
