I don’t know what Trump is doing hear, but going around and stating that his power is absolute is dumb. Even if it is, stating it in the terms that he did is a mistake. IMHO
This one puzzles me two. Seems like escalating a war that hasn’t started.
Read the Mark Levin tweets for further explanation. Then it will become clear what Trump is doing. Too many to post.

He did not state his power.
I would suggest that you actually watch the movie or better yet read the books.
He pretty much referred to the power of the citizenry as referenced in the founding document of the United States of America.
That document is not the United States Constitution. It is the Declaration of Independence. Trump pretty much told the State Governors that if the citizenry chose to forcibly remove them then the Federal Government is not going to take the side of the Governors.
Straight up.
2005 has really stepped up the past week!
Here's how I see it. Some of these governors, Inslee is one, mostly Democrats, see this as a way to exert power. Now that they have exerted it, they revel in it and don't want to let it go.
Trump sees this and was putting a shot across their bows that continuing with their, in some cases, unconstitutional power grab was going to end. IMHO
