Okay, I've had it with someone helping themselves in my computers.. in broad daylight. i have Norton on all and the turn it off. I just did a Windows reset on one.. and unplugged my computers till I can fix the way they get in.
I am angry and fed up with their bold thievery. Anyone have a really good solution?
this is an example of what is going on.. one of many.
the computer they got into
. i opened the lid and entered my pin. the desktop was half gone. all my folders were gone.. i back everything up on a hand drive.. i have 3..
i looked around, seeing things added and missing.. then i saw the mouse arrow go up to an x to x it out. and i turned it off.. later i cked and there were certificates on there... also roaming, remote. and it appeared all in the folders were copied and taken.. many tracks left to see what they did but no way to see how they git in.
Lats time i was hacked (that I know of) was in the days I'd go out to sites to get hacks for apps I didn't want to pay for....go to a hacker site to rip off someone who wrote a good app and get hacked by the ones helping you rip the person off...whodathinkit...
Explain why you think youre being hacked? Because a service is being turned off?
for starters, the mouse was taken over..thats when i pulled the plug.
i turned my lap top on and all my folders were gone. and things/items i saw some were changed .. modified....THAT DAY. i found some of my items in a folder
they took one of my identities and got into my microsoft acct..its not easy to get in there, so i wonder what he used... made users and took ownership of folders they had their thievery in.
i could go on....
So you were using your computer and your mouse suddenly started moving? This would require a remote desktop product such as "LogMeIn Rescue" or "TeamViewer." Microsoft's RDP client wouldn't perform interactively with your desktop unless you used the "Remote Assistance" app. These solutions cannot be installed without interactive permission, so someone installed it while using your machine.

This is harder to understand. What do you mean by "all my folders were gone?" There are hundreds of directory structures in a standard Windows installation. What was missing and from where?

You can recover a compromised Microsoft account, and Microsoft WANTS TO KNOW this happened.
Recover Hacked or Compromised Account
made users and took ownership of folders they had their thievery in.
Made users where? On your machine? If you're smart enough to know where to look for local user accounts, you're likely smart enough to know how to disable services and stop tasks running on the desktop. With your machine disconnected from the Internet, go disable those accounts and any services that look suspicious. No harm can come to your machine if it's not on the Internet unless they've installed ransomware, and if you don't have a recent backup, you can't recover from that anyway.
What version of Windows are your running? If you're running Windows 10, I do not recommend you install ANY third party antivirus/antimalware/firewall solution. They will directly conflict with the built-in Windows 10 security suite and could create ingress points on your machine that cannot be detected. Anything "free" in the security world should be considered suspicious.
It really takes special training to be able to use it. Malware can be tricky to remove and needs to be done in the proper sequence. They have special tools that you can't get with your anti virus software.
thanks.. i will look at it... sounds like i could use it.
I haven’t been offered a spot in their ads and don’t represent the company. I have been using PCMatic for 4 years. They are a U.S. based company and have protected my 4 computers ever since I bought their service. Last year PCMatic offered to new / existing customers a lifetime membership for 5 computers @ $150.
If you are still looking for virus protection, as your post indicated, then try them. If the ad turns you off, then don’t.
i typed a paragraph of words to answer you and that little voice popped up and wiped it out..and its difficult to type on this phone.
the ad does not offend me.. just her voice is shrill to my one ear that i can hear with. its been that way all my life
mens voices are smoother than womens.. a tv with the base on the floor i can hear better than on a wall or a stand. sound travels on wood floor and id smoother..
i thank you for your suggestion.. i shall look at it.. i have reset windows on 2 laptops..and i have to get them going.. did you know microsoft would not take the same setup for both..have to remember 2 more instead of one
i wanted to use linux instead of microsoft.. maybe another day. i am fed up with microsoft. excuse mistypes.. and thank you.
If anyone cks back on this..
I have had my 3 pcs wiped clean and new windows 10 back on. I am getting the 3 back in working shape, with zone alarm extreme, malwarebites, and ccleaner.. plus a new router and hoping I am safe.
Thank you all!!
*snort*
Not to be outdone, MacKeeper is malware for Macs.
Does it block the FBI?
Republican Senate just approved EXTENSION of FISA Law to allow FBI to search your internet searches.
REWARDING the crooked FBI for their crimes against Trump, Flynn, Papadopplis, Manafort, McFarland and many others.
They should be DISBANDED, not REWARDED.
BASTARDS
I thought they were going to change fisa so that didn’t happen again. The fisa court needs to be changed.
Well, no guts no gain...!
