I live in upstate NY and heard he is also transferring coronavirus patients to Albany.
Yeah, I have often heard that about upstate. You have my deepest sympathy.
Coumo cut his press conference short after his charts showed corona infections in NYC actually decreasing today, and discharges from hospitals spiking. The slap in the face was when one reporter asked him “ If you only have ~18,000 corona patients currently in beds, do you still really think you need 16,000 more respirators, based on these trends?”

My family is upstate NY still and most of them voted for this guy. They aren’t too happy now. Democrats are just not capable of seeing past today. I don’t get it. Conservatives are the ones who care about the environment, planning ahead, encouraging self-sufficiency, real education, industry, families, national protection, reasonable law and order, etc. Why anyone would not be for that is crazy.
Cuomo is a product of the state of NY. State and state.
Scary thing is Upstate’s population tends to be older and sicker. And the healthcare system up here is a wreck. Also, with Cuomo forcing nursing homes to take back WuFlu patients, against federal guidance, there might be a growing need for ventilators Upstate.
If I owned a hospital in upstate New York and the governor sent the National Guard to seize my equipment, I’d have no moral qualms about removing the equipment before they got there ... and maybe even leaving a few unexpected “gifts” behind for them when they got there.
Cuomo does not care about Upstate New York. He only cares where his votes are and the illegals.
I also have not heard a single Upstate pol raise hell about this.
