On Friday March 27th Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer threatened to revoke the medical licenses of doctors and pharmacists who prescribe hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus in Michigan.

Four days later, March 31st, the same governor asks the federal government to send her hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus patients. Go figure.

The problem may not be flip-flopping, “orange man bad" Democratic state leaders.

The State of Oregon arguably did the same thing with these possible remedies. But issue is possibly that limited supplies of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine are available, some states understandably trying to prioritize these drugs for the sickest of their COVID-19-diagnosed patients.

Could we please get some good information about how scarce hydroxychloroquine is RIGHT NOW in the United States? Novartis, Teva, and Bayer have pledged to donate 139,000,000 doses. How many of those are available RIGHT NOW and how are they being allocated? How is Mylan doing at ramping up production in West Virginia? Still on track for mid-April deliveries?

While we're at it, how about a story on alternative drugs for use on lupus and RA patients?

Oh, and there's a trial of the HCQ drug combo going on in New York City right now. How is that going? The media have barely covered it, probably because Orange Drug Bad.

In my lost youth I have been fond of said such. I assure you that governor would have never been on my list even if she were young. The oilfields in the late seventies were insane and early eighties I loved it. I was making money out the ass as a consultant. I had my own airplane and it was paid for. Then 1983 happened. We found to damn much oil, it’s price collapsed.

I sold my house and airplane and went back to school again. I became a pharmacist. I would have much rather been an oil field worker.
