In an interview Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that the White House's delayed response to the coronavirus pandemic cost American lives.
"The president, his denial at the beginning was deadly," she told CNN's Jake Tapper. "His delaying of getting equipment to where it continued -- his continued delay in getting equipment to where it’s needed is deadly. ...

Tapper asked: "Are you saying his downplaying ultimately cost American lives?"
"Yes, I am," Pelosi replied.
Pelosi also hinted there would be an investigation into the administration's handling of the pandemic once things go back to normal.
"I don't know what the scientists said to him," Pelosi stated. "When did this president know about this, and what did he know? What did he know and when did he know it? That's for an after-action review."
"But as the president fiddles, people are dying. We just have to take every precaution."

Pelosi threatening more investigation and accusing Trump of diddling and fiddling while people are dying showed her EXTRA SPECIAL chutzpah.
As Americans are forced to watch the Covid-19 pandemic plays out, we will see if more reasonable people still buying into the Dem playing politics as usual game.
This is the dems’ new line of attack for the election. More investigations, probably another impeachment for “crimes against humanity”.

Probably, because it’s politicized. But I can tell you I know Trump voters who are extremely frustrated/angry at the lack of testing, because their family members have symptoms but can’t get tested.
