You are exactly right. At a local food market yesterday, I was 3rd in line standing outside on the taped line six feet from a woman in front, another woman was 6 feet in front of her (about 10 get let in at a time). Both had masks on. I asked if either 1 was sick. They both replied no. I asked them if they wore masks last year when 80,000 died of the flu? Crickets. I then commented that if they took their masks off, it would feel like a ton of bricks released from their backs...that even when this virus is over, they will have great difficulties shedding the mask. I’m going to talk to mask people from now on.
