I will pray for them in Spain. As for it not getting that bad here. No prayers necessary. We are not Spain and we are not Italy.
We don’t have their population density.
We don’t have their percentage of elderly.
We don’t have the amount of smokers, not nearly.
We don’t have socialized medicine.
Mostly all true what you said, but there are some dense pockets here such as NY city. Walking through Univ of Washington, Seattle campus, you will see amazing number of Chinese students. Lots of rich Chinese live in Seattle and they have money to travel. Lots of elderly in America live in clusters in nursing homes. Whereas in many other countries they live with their children. My own grandfather lived with us until he passed at age in late 90’s. Less smokers is definitely a positive here.
Great points. And we dont have their culture of greeting acquaintances with kisses or living with abuelo or nonno either. We do have a greater respect for not violating peoples personal space when chatting too.
