IF I were still an employer, I would shut down before I would hand out Permanent PAID SICK LEAVE. Close the doors, lay off every single employee I might have.
I would gross less $$$ working by myself, but I would also be spending far less money.
BENEFITS like sick leave are just that-—a BENEFIT some employers off in times of short qualified workers.
