We can really just chalk up this next story to California being California in the most California way.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom gave his State of the State address on Wednesday to a joint session of the California Legislature and told the predominantly controlled by Democrats body that of a new proposal that would allow doctors to write out prescriptions for housing as part of a five-point plan to combat California’s homelessness situation.

Go figure! No 1 cause of homelessness in the land of fruits and nuts is lack of affordable housing! So a doctor’s script is going to fix that? With the insanity in the state house, I can see where they get a good supply of the number 4 cause, which is mental illness! These clowns have graduated from fruit and nut classification!
This “medication” will be administered rectally - to the taxpayer.
And who pays for this again?
Honestly, what is next, I don’t have transportation so I need a note to buy a car no matter what my credit is?????
I can’t imagine how this will play out. Aren’t social workers already working with the homeless who want help? They know what housing is available. This is another hare-brained Newsome idea.
I get depressed on beautiful summer days when I have to work and thus unable to ride my motorcycle. Perhaps my doctor could write a prescription to get paid days off in the summer for my mental health.
Then another law requiring insurance companies to pay this.

You said it’s in the NWO hopper. I can’t quite figure out what would be the purpose. The problem won’t be fixed any differently; e.g., what difference does it ultimately make whether a homeless person is given a dwelling prescribed by a physician or arranged by a social worker. Is it to say that there are no social problems only medical problems?
