Appearing Tuesday on the Fox Business Network, House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) dismissed record-low black unemployment under President Donald Trump, stating black Americans “were fully employed during slavery.”

That may be the dumbest thing I’ve heard in a week.
Are some people just imbeciles? But if they spout liberal pablum, we aren’t supposed to point out their lunacy?

which one was it that said sharks changed their feeding patterns because of all the slaves tossed off ships?

Consider what the Democrats offered,
Joblessness and complete dependency on gubmint handout, AFTER a HEALTHY CUT to their cronies first, of course.
Why isn’t this guy running for the Democrat POTUS nomination? With a line like that he’d be one of the favorites....
We have to recall that those that escaped, were not employed. Nor were the ones waiting to be auctioned off. We also have to account for those who were on ocean cruises while waiting for employment.
What a bizarre argument to make. Other than just trying to sh_t up the discussion, I can’t see what he was possibly hoping to accomplish with that. Does he mean each drop in the black unemployment rate constitute a step toward re-enslavement? Does he mean that the black unemployment rate doesn’t matter because of slavery? Does he have any idea what he means?
Being employed equals being a slave?

No kidding! Slaves did not get paid, and therefore were not beneficially employed.

I forgot about Major Owens
Every time I have an opportunity to talk to a black in their working environment, I ask them if they are happy with their job. I usually get a smile and an unequivocal yes. Whenever I can I extend the conversation to find out why. It’s the economy.
I just rented a home to a black single mother. She is former Section 8. I checked on her employment as I know people there. They described her as eager to do a good job. She told me this is the first time in her life she could make enough to raise the kids and rent a nice home. On questioning her, yes, she says it’s the economy. Now, does she attribute that to Trump? That I don’t know.
He’s right, the Democrats made sure all of their Slaves Were Working.

This insane sickening comment should be broadcast every day to every black American voter in America. How downright demeaning and contemptuous of black people!
