I read an article about a week ago that was saying this might be a race specific virus in that everyone who had died from it so far was Chinese or Asian. They were comparing it to SARS or some other virus that mainly affected indigenous peoples.
Not sure if that is just because of where the spread started or whether there is some truth to that.
