Bloomberg has some nutty ideas (about big sodas, etc) and some bad ones (guns), but he was all in all an extremely competent public administrator in NYC, especially when compared to what has happened since a Bernie Bro was put in charge.
The problem is that NYC is not really America, which means Michael Bloomberg is the solution to problems that most Americans don’t have.
