Romney believes he is safe from the voters back home despite his mendacity, since he doesn’t have to face them again until 2024. But voters – especially those of the conservative stripe – tend to have long memories about the special kind of deceit Romney practiced in getting elected to his senate office in 2018.

Romney may very well be safe back home because of the Mormon vote that does not like Trump's personal life.

Mormons vote against their otherwise conservative values in the same way that Catholics vote for pro-choice Democrats against their otherwise conservative values.

Wait until he runs for president this election as an independent to siphon votes from Trump.

“Romney may very well be safe back home because of the Mormon vote that does not like Trump’s personal life.”

How about Romney back-stabbing and smearing someone who whole-heartededly supported him financially and endorsed him when he ran for President? How about lying to your constituents and saying you will support the President? That behavior is a huge picture into Romney’s “personal life”.

That statement itself exposes Romney's Mormon supporters as a bunch of frauds.

When he was governor of Massachusetts, his track record on social/moral issues was no different than what you'd see from a Kennedy.

The man is so utterly full of sh!t, and his sanctimonious claim that he voted to convict President Trump because he's a "religious man" has actually turned Mormonism into a national joke.

The good news is that my new truck has a large enough fuel tank that I can drive across Utah without stopping for gas. I'll make sure I write the place off completely in my travels in the West, though I'll be sure to use the entire place as my outdoor bathroom as much as possible.
