Hiding behind the staffer is worse than hypocrisy. She could have actually explained away the private jet travel for many reasons - impeachment work, Iowa late returns, having to shuttle to DC for SOTU, etc. All good reasons, and one that can withstand scrutiny, her Green New deal notwithstanding. Frankly, her schedule for the last 4-5 days was brutal , more so than even most CEOs, and private jet travel was justified.
But hiding behind the staffer is a guilty move.
