Most of us have dormant csncer genes that could be triggered by environmnt. My husband quit smoking 15 years ago. Worked on Wall zstreet. Was there on 911 and 10 years subsequent to 911. His mom is 93 smoked like a chimney and is still kicking.
He had three factors working against.
Wall Street Stress.
Smoking
And 911 environmental issues.
It really is genetic roulette. Perhaps that is one reason why it is so hard to find a cure for so many.
That ones that really get me are the kids who have to deal with illness and the concept of dying at such a young age.
