Thank you for this thread. I have to fly to Canada in 10 days (for my Dad's 90th birthday). I'm taking a non-stop flight to minimize my risk (of both corona and flu), and I'm seriously considering wearing mask and goggles, but it's good to know there's something to do if someone is infected.
Vitamin D is supposed to be important with the flu. Does it do anything for coronavirus?

Vitamin D is mainly important because most people are deficient in it and therefore get much worse cases if they get sick. The most important thing about vitamin d is to take it regularly and build up a blood level of at least 60. That will give your immune system a fighting chance. It takes a few weeks to build up your levels. There are 10,000 IU supplements which you cold take every other day, or every day if youre already unwell.
