The Young and the Restless for Tuesday, January 21 was preempted due to impeachment proceedings in the United States Senate.
The soap opera took to Facebook to make the official announcement even though viewers throughout the four U.S. timezones previously reported either seeing impeachment breaking news or a rerun about Kristoff St. John and his character Neil’s death from last spring.

OH NOES the housewives are gonna miss their stories this is hugh and serious! I used to be a Days of Our Lives fan, watched the show for about 10 yrs, than they went off the rails, went really far left so I quit, haven’t watched for 2 yrs now, you can tune in now and feel like you haven’t missed anything

If I am home, I’ll watch....it has been around since 1973
My MIL was a giant Days fan. I would watch with her from time to time. I once went a year without seeing it. I was shocked how little changed in that year.
Back in the 80’s I lived close to my job and went home the eat lunch and watch Y&R. I was hooked!................
Why don’t CBS just put the completed episodes on CBS All Access first?

Somebody in the control rooms of the US media needs to take things into their own hands and pull the plug on this utterly pointless waste of electricity. I’d rather watch the fake fireplace video or a test pattern than this droning nonsense.
I’ll take the soap opera over the ‘pechment. Boring, and we already know the outcome

Before 9/11 I took my visiting cousin from Israel on a Days tour, they had those back then, where you can go on the NBC lot and see the set, etc..met a few of the Days stars, the nicest one was Joseph Mascolo(Stefano) he was a very sweet man, the rest of them, eh, jerks, met Hope, full of herself, assume she is the same today. All My Children now that was a soap opera, watched it everyday with my Mom wish they would bring it back
