The entire border needs a wall. Without the entire border walled, the illegal invaders can come through the unwalled areas and, once here, have the freedom of movement throughout the rest of the lower 48 states.

I have long advocated a relatively inexpensive addition to border security: bounties paid to Mexicans in Mexico, to inform us of non-Mexicans trying to cross our border.
It doesn’t have to be a large amount of money. Say $50 for an ordinary non-Mexican, $100 for a dangerous felon, $500 to an ordinary terrorist, and a jackpot of $10,000 for particularly dangerous terrorists. Payable only when they are captured.
When they give information they are given a random seven digit number as their password. If it is good info resulting in a bust, a pay master visits Mexico, and when given that password will give the informant an envelope.
Even $50, tax free, looks like big money south of the border, and $10k is winning the lottery. Plus there is no one to shake them down, so it is all theirs.
With thousands of greedy eyes watching the border, it would be air tight to foreigners. And the whole program could be paid for with donations.
Hmm, if they do stop us from building a wall on the border with Mexico, can we instead just wall off the red parts of the country from the sanctuary cesspools?

It would serve CA right if they experienced a terrorist attack. They love terrorists and just can’t believe that one could happen there! Not CA! I’m not advocating, of course, as I have family there, but they are a stubborn idiotic lot out there and are living in an alternate universe, way stranger than the rest of us!
Yes that’s why it would take a large scale disaster so big they wouldn’t have a choice. Hundreds dead in one crack kind of scale. It’s amazing it has not happened yet actually.
We Should export prisoners from US prisons to Mexican prisons.
It will yield 2 benefits.
(1) Billions saved for tax payers. Mexican prisons cost 1/10th of US prisons on average, per prisoner.
(2) After experiencing time in Mexican prisons, criminals will give up crime.

I knew an Iranian woman in San Diego a long time ago. She told me that Mexican people were constantly coming up to her and speaking to her in Spanish because she looked like a Mexican. If those Iranian terrorists dress like a poor Mexicans wearing clothes from the swap meet in Mexicali they will be able to blend in with the hordes of Mexicans over running our border.
