I would love them to pass a resolution where all the rules the Democrats used in the House were EXACTLY the same, with only the parties and names changed to being the Republicans being in charge of it, and they got to refuse any witnesses the Dems wanted and watch them howl because they can’t claim it was unfair otherwise, the entire impeachment fiasco is showed to be.
By my count, Romney (who wants to hear from Bolton), Murkowski, Collins, Alexander and Portman have already stated their opposition to dismissal. I fully expect Romney’s pet poodle Mike Lee to insist on his fungible definition of “fairness” and he’ll be joined by Roy Blunt, which tilts the scales on the vote for witnesses to 54 for the Democrats/GOP surrender monkeys.
