Most people have not experienced suffocation and do not understand that someone's own lungs can suddenly close and kill them.
I would suggest you discuss with your doctor about getting a nebulizer in your home with liquid albuterol. Maybe it's not affected since it's air-propelled. Good luck.
I have one, but it’s inconvenient to use on a regular basis and makes me jittery, unlike an inhaler. I certainly can’t take it with me places. If I use it at night, I won’t sleep for hours. Maybe I could get more housework done. ;-)
Right now I’m a hot mess and haven’t slept well in days due to this persistent cough. I feel like Fritz Von Erich is doing his iron claw hold on my lungs. (old-timers will get this)
I know exactly what you mean. I used one inhaler them was switched to another and Sprivia caps to inhale. The inhaler is Proair hfr and it is no where near as effective.
I also ended up with a nebulizer and liquid albuterol.
I also use Symbicort twice a day.
More medications to replace one inhaler that worked.
And the amount of CFCs in a tiny inhaler is miniscule, probably only a couple of grams.
Got antibiotics and new inhalers from the doctor yesterday. Inhalers still aren’t effective, so I did use the nebulizer today. I’m sick of being sick.
