Most of the illegals have only a few years of formal education in their home country, not even enough to qualify for an elementary school degree. Consequently, in spite of any manual skills, they mostly lack the capacity for abstract reasoning. They are able to learn little more than what has been put immediately before them and demonstrated in a practical way. For example, they grasp that they need a drivers' license and insurance card, but they are mostly incapable of learning the abstract bundle of requirements and obligations that they incorporate. Those things are the essence of drivers' license testing.

The word uber is a German adjective. The ride sharing service name is a noun.

Look for auto insurance rates into the stratosphere and a lot of innocent people being killed and maimed on the roads.

But heck, they are registered to vote now which is what this is all about anyway. The left’s never ending quest for power.

Question:

IF the applicant for the driver’s license cannot write or speak or read English——

How will they read the signs on the roads/highways?

How are they even getting insured???

OH, Yeah-—They are NOT insured.

I can remember when my ‘Uninsured Motorist” coverage was $1 a month extra on my insurance premiums. NOW-—that Uninsured Motorist coverage represents 37% of my total premiums.

I am driving a car I bought in August 1981 & a truck I bought in April 1986-—so a ‘different car/ruck’ isn’t the reason.

Right, just wanted to make it clear to anyone who read the title too fast.

I assume they have to take a Driving Test, not just a Written Test.

Do the Examiners giving the Driving Test speak Spanish?

If not, how do the non English speakers they are Testing follow the driving directions in English?

I haven't been in a Sec of State office in years. I renew my license plates via internet and did so with my drivers license too........

In 2014, I renewed my concealed weapons permit which at the time was for 3 years. I had to have a new photo taken to do so.

In 2017 I had to renew the permit and this time it was five years as well as my drivers license. Both the permit and drivers license came back with the picture I had submitted in 2014.

What is significant about this is the fact that here in Michigan your drivers license is flagged and if pulled over for a traffic violation, the LEO will know that you have a concealed weapons permit and are likely carrying a weapon.

I don't know if that's a nation wide policy or not.....

Bull... The lines were horrible before the illeagals. I think it’s because we have to register our cars every year... Other states.. boom one time and done. Plus too many people. I guess the illeagals do play a factor though...
