The outpouring of grief over the death of Qasem Soleimani really is nothing less than astonishing and its coming almost entirely from the American left and the American media.
Let us recall that Soleimani was responsible for the deaths of 600 American soldiers and Marines and blew the limbs off thousands more in a country not his own. It is reported that he was making plans that could have resulted in the deaths of hundreds more.
Let us also recall that Barack Obama helped finance these kinds of operations, including the attack on the US Embassy in Baghdad.
Protests were scheduled all over the US in support of Soleimani:
In Massachusetts:Several anti-war groups planned more than 70 protests throughout the country Saturday to show their dissent against the Pentagons decision to kill Irans top general, Qasem Soleimani, and to send 3,500 more troops to the Middle East. The groups, which include left-wing organizations such as Code Pink and Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER), organized the protests to take place in front of the White House in Washington, DC, in Times Square in New York, at Chicagos Trump Tower, and at the Brandenberg Gate in Germany, among other places.
The targeted assassination and murder of a central leader of Iran is designed to initiate a new war, ANSWER stated on its website. Unless the people of the United States rise up and stop it, this war will engulf the whole region and could quickly turn into a global conflict of unpredictable scope and potentially the gravest consequences.
BOSTON (CBS/AP) Critics of President Donald Trumps decision to authorize the killing of Irans top general are planning protests across Massachusetts on Saturday. But for pure stupidity, you just cant beat democrats.Protesters gathered Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bostons Park Street Station to demand that presidential candidates and members of Congress speak out on the crisis and that Congress take urgent action.
They could be heard chanting phrases such as occupation is a crime from Iraq to Palestine and hey hey, ho ho, imperialism has got to go.
Other protests are planned Saturday in Arlington, Andover, Northampton and Walpole.
The Radical Islamic Lobby, otherwise known as The Squad, was all over Trump:
Tlaib and Omar were exploiting the event for donations. All four far-left members of the Squad accused President Trump of leading the United States to the brink of war by greenlighting a strike that resulted in the death of Iranian terror chief Qasem Soleimani. The freshmen Democrats condemned Trumps decisive military action that led to the death of Irans top military general, Soleimani, who reportedly approved of the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region, according to the Pentagon.
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) condemned the military action and asserted that Trump is bringing the U.S. to the brink of war, which endangers us all.
Elizabeth Warren lamented Soleimani

Skipping over the painful little detail that this monster killed and maimed thousands of Americans while not being at war with the US. One wonders how many American deaths it would take for her to care, although at one time she seemed to care.

When will Pelosi add this as an article of impeachment?
Like talking to a brick wall. They think that America DESERVED to be attacked on 9/11 and still do. They also go around calling President Trump “cheeto.”
' Soleimani is the guy that sent the copper-tipped IEDs into Iraq, said Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain, referring to powerful improvised explosive devices, which Marine Corps Commandant General Joseph Dunford testified last week were responsible for the deaths of 500 soldiers and Marines.'
It came from McCain, so it must be accurate. Using recycled talking points. Cheney pushed these numbers years ago as well.
When will Pelosi add this as an article of impeachment?
This is one of the reasons I turned away from the Democrat years ago. When it comes to life and death issues, no one on Earth one is more absurdly hypocritical than the Democratic party.
Schiff looked like his grandmother had just been offed.
He had this weird stern look on his face, grim and outraged.
It’s not a joke. They probably DO want to add this as a charge. Maybe they’ll throw in “insulting Islam” or something.
It’s because they hate Trump’s America and our troops.
Well and a bunch of cuckoo libertarians.
I don’t know why this writer wants people to cluck in Warren’s Twitter.
Here’s what she wrote (so no one has to cluck though):
“You are threatening to commit war crimes. We are not at war with Iran. The American people do not want a war with Iran. This is a democracy. You do not get to start a war with Iran, and your threats put our troops and diplomats at greater risk. Stop.”
Yes, they are calling Trump’s warning a threat to commit war crimes.
Left media and democrats? Call them what they are fifth columnists.
Even Iranians and Iraqis were dancing in the streets over his death- shows how low many of the scum are on the left in our country
The spinning out and going nuts of the left will have an impact on some millennials, because they're young, and as most will admit, when we're all young, we're gullible and easily stirred up (suckers, idiots). It will have the reverse impact on communities of color, because they can see it's just more of the railroading that the Demagogic Party has been conducting. Where the RNC needs to concentrate is in constant rebuttal and ridicule of the "tax cut for the rich" and "elimination of health coverage", neither of which is true. I've even noticed signs in my leftist relatives (all those older than me) that they prefer the way Medicare is working now and seem concerned about the crazed loonies of the LGBTQ / Fairy Kingdom / Alphabet People and their millennial nitwit supporters.
