It is not the job of a prosecutor to exonerate anyone. It is their job to decide if there is enough evidence to determine if a crime had been committed.
Exactly. However, the media views their role in the process as judge, jury, and executioner. Trial by the court of public opinion is their self-appointed role and they have deemed Trump as unfit from day 1 even as they obsess over his every word and action.

And let's not forget Mueller's response to the republican congressman or senator when confronted about "innocent until proven guilty," and whether or not there were different rights that President Trump had, vs every other US citizen, and Mueller effectively said that POTUS Trump didn't have the same rights as every other US citizen.
I didn't phrase that well, but I DO remember the exchange!

Yep, and Mueller determined that there wasn’t enough evidence to charge Trump with anything greater than hurting liberals’ feelings.
