THE Ohio State University dominated the first half but kicked 3 chip shot field goals. Then Sunshine looked like a galloping giraffe as he scored a rushing TD to make it a 2 pt game.

Why would you have an officiating crew from a conference that is one of the final four teams?
The targeting call was BS.
The Dobbins TD in the first half was questionable as well as the pass/fumble recovery. It seems like every close call that required review went against OSU.

Whining about bad calls is just that, Whining. OSU had their opportunities. As Alabama learned last year, there may be something to Clemson’s Red Zone Defense. This was the difference in the game.

What about the call was BS? The defender lowered his head and delivered a helmet-on-helmet hit. Textbook targeting.

If they called every helmet to helmet contact between a defender and a QB sack during a game, there wouldn’t be anyone left on defense.
Lol. I knew that would be said. They helped determine a number of game outcomes this year. The only call I thought was questionable was the catch/fumble reversal. But the former official explained the way that play is reviewed before it was reviewed. His analysis was confirmed. I thought OSU would pull it out the way they were moving downfield at the end. I enjoyed watching both games today.
It makes sense, sort of. Would you prefer officials from one of the mid-level conferences doing it? The players in the Power 5 are a cut above 90% of the mid-level conference players. The officials are as well, if you ask me. Put in officials from the Mountain West or the MAC and you are asking for more blown calls.
What would be interesting is to have Big 10 officials doing the Championship game in 2 weeks. Not that LSU needs more of an advantage.

Not taking anything away from the Tigers, they outplayed OSU during the second half. They deserved to win.

Joe Burrow is a better QB than Fields. The Clemson secondary will not hold up against LSU. And I’m a dyed in the wool Bama fan.
Seems like every Final Four game either has a crew from the SEC or the ACC. What conference provided the crew for the LSU game?
