Crude oil and natural gas production from the U.S. shale patch will top Russia’s combined oil and gas output by 2025, the International Energy Agency said in the 2019 edition of its World Energy Outlook.

Under its Stated Policy Scenario, the IEA said, the U.S. will account for the overwhelming bulk of global oil production growth, at 85 percent, by 2030. It will also account for 30 percent of the global natural gas production growth in that period.

With all this happening, it’s no wonder the United States will undermine OPEC’s and Russia’s share of the global oil and gas market, according to the IEA. The agency said that it expected growing U.S. production to bring down OPEC’s and Russia’s combined share of the oil market to 47 percent in 2030 from 55 percent in 2005.

Actually, Russia has a LOT more oil and natural gas than people think. However, the extremely cold winters and the permafrost in eastern Siberia makes exploiting these oilfields very expensive to do.

Ah, for the good old days of complete dependence on Arabs for oil. Jimmy Carter’s sweaters, Peak Oil and low thermostats, those were the days.

Every Democrat running wants to ban fracking, which will be the biggest boost to Russia possible.

Of course, it will mean the loss of millions of US jobs, drive up gas prices and empower terrorist nations.

Democrats...assisting our enemies both foreign and domestic.

Now, open up ANWR and bury Iran, Venezuela, Russia and all the other OPEC countries.

In addition Canada is going to build the new pipeline from Alberta to the BC coast. It is just a matter of time before construction starts.

That proposed pipeline will likely never happen. It’s kinda like the proposed natural gas pipeline from the Alaska north slope to kenai peninsula. Likely never happen. Too much money is involved in fighting either project.
