I can envision a prissy hissy fit with Shep saying HIM OR ME..and it ending in a snit with security.
Yup. I think that's what likely happened.
For example Shep was mad at Tucker and Joe DiGenova. He probably wanted Tucker punished and Joe D. banned from the network.
Both those things didn't happen.
So Shep leaves.
