I put Beck and Savage and now Drudge into similar categories. Faux conservatives who sold their souls for a seat at Satans table of power. The radio personalities became suspect in my eyes because they sold their viewpoints with fairly transparent histrionics. Take your pick: either tears or rage. Drudge is all about the bottom line.

Around the start of the Trump presidency, Beck was the only conservative available for morning commute time. I couldn’t stand him because he was always bashing Trump. In the afternoon, it was Mark Levin, who bashed Trump whenever he wasn’t talking about his dog. So being a Trump supporter and a cat person, I took up listening to books on CD while commuting.
Nowadays, Beck is gone from our local radio market and Levin has gotten somewhat more listenable.
