NJ already has very restrictive gun laws, but illegal guns can be easily obtained in his hometown of Newark. Pandering to the idiots.

“If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to buy and possess a gun,” said U.S. Sen. Cory "Fartacus" Booker

"If you need to sit and spin on a sandpaper-covered baseball bat, then you should JUST DO IT, Fartacus"

“If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to buy and possess a gun...”

Sigh. At the risk of repeating myself, one doesn’t need a license to own or drive a car. One needs a license to drive on public highways. And, if one does get a license to drive a car on public highways, one gets it from the state, not the feds. Which of the limited enumerated powers granted to Congress covers the licensing and monitoring of gun owners? And then there’s that pesky “...shall not be infringed” part of the 2nd Amendment or is this covered by the “Yes we can!” clause of the Constitution?

you should check this out, he set numerous precedents all the way to the Supreme Court, and has NO License,Plates or Registration. We all have the Right to travel upon the Nations Highways in our own personal conveyances. The Government Only has the right to regulate Commercial Activity:

https://freedom-school.com/travel/tom-hyland-story.pdf

Tom won two cases in New Mexico courts brought by the State of New Mexico
against him for “no driver’s license, no plates, no registration, and no insurance”.
Both cases were dismissed, with prejudice, and have established precedents,
whether recognized, or not. To expose this fraud and restore Constitutional
governance to New Mexico, Tom filed a Complaint and case in the state’s First
Judicial District Court, in Santa Fe, against 34 individuals who work for the
machinery of government of the State of New Mexico, including Governor Bill
Richardson.

Even if this fantasy law were passed, No one is going to do this. Even if we, did, we would overwhelm the system. As it is, the Feds can’t process CCW documentation coming from the states. Imagine hundreds of millions of licenses every five years? Beto is a total, flaming, stupid asshole without any common sense.

or we are all doomed. Literally.

No.

Then, we can cut to the chase.

We'll see their little Twitter "Resistance", and raise them a Second Amendment Resistance.

They declared the last presidential election invalid.

We can do it too.

With a stroke of a communist pen, I will become a criminal and wear the badge proudly! No thanks Cory. Your peeps are gonna have to come get it. I’m not willingly relinquishing my God given right to self defense to your thug criminal enterprise and it’s fellow travelers. Nope. Nope. Nope. 😁

He isn’t saying this because he believes he can enact the laws. It is specifically to garner votes from constitutionally illiterate women and other voters that think nobody needs a gun.

“If you need a license to drive a car, you should need a license to buy and possess a gun,” said U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, a Presidential candidate, and the bill’s author.

GOP should introduce a bill for a 5 year “license to vote”
If it’s good enough for 1 constitutional right....

OK, and then once someone passes the checks and gets a license,

These individuals are hereby authorized to carry concealed in all 50 states and territories, courthouses, and anywhere duly sworn and retired Law Enforcement are, up to and including commercial aircraft.

Right Cory?

So long as we are talking about abridging constitutional rights, anyone who voted for Booker should be required to get a five-year license to vote. If you cannot drive a car without a license, why should you be allowed exercise your right to vote if you used it irresponsibly to help elect a moron like Booker

Ding-ding-ding, you are correct....this is to show the sheeple that he and other dems want to take those dangerous, icky guns away from all citizens....it's for the children of course.

It was a similar ploy with Beto the other night when he got uproarious applause by telling the audience that he was going to confiscate your AR-15.

Pandering indeed, but dangerous nonetheless.
