J.P. Morgan estimates that President Trumps tariffs will cost American families up to $1,000 next year. We have heard this before and well hear it again. But the fact is that tariffs have not yetnor will they likelyincrease the cost of living.
Further, the myopic obsession with the price of goods ignores the more pressing problem: millions of Americans remain chronically unemployed, and millions more have been reduced to surviving on part-time McJobs and welfare. Turns out, cheap goods arent so cheap if you dont have a job.

I cant find a job. Apparently little old ladies are qualified to take tickets at the concert stadium but they rejected me. A little old lady down the street who works there suggested i apply. I dont understand how im not qualified to take tickets but she is
The Masters of the Uinverse (Tom Wolfe) got fabulously wealthy sending jobs to China (and other places). We were propagandized that all they were doing was ceasing the production of buggy whips in favor of better paying, more productive concerns. (See Mitt Romney and Bain Capital). Unfortunately those High Tech better paying jobs turned out, for most, to be a second job flipping burgers. After a couple decades of rape and pillage across flyover country there little left to harvest so as those opportunities are coming to an end its safe to admit transferring $Trillions to China to make a handful of coastal elites fabulously wealthy may not have been a good thing. Which is good for you if you have managed to be one of those people who drowned your sorrows in Pabst Blue Ribbon as opposed to Oxy Contin. Clown World. All of it.
Yes, they may affect prices to a certain degree but nowhere near as much as taxes do. Here in California, for instance, we pay somewhere near a $1.06 in local, state, federal and excise taxes for a gall on gas.
So, when I fill up my 30 gallon gas tank, over $30.00 of that goes to taxes. I fill up every 4 or 5 days. Add that up, J.P. Morgan and then open up your fat face.
Do “they” really pass the savings on labor to the US consumer? I doubt it. If they did then what would be the point? They off shored to MAXIMIZE profits at the expense of US workers and quality. A win-lose-lose situation.
At least we dont have to worry about what to do with all these buggy whips anymore.

End Social Security and Medicare.
I take some of the temporary assignments because I don't want to quit my full time job yet. For instance, in a couple of weeks, I'll be pouring beer at Sierra Nevada Brewing Company's Oktoberfest celebration. Woo hoo!
So, look into it.
They’re lying through their foul teeth.
Case in point: cost-to-manufacture vs. retail price of athletic shoes.
I think you should go to the eye doctor.
The GOP is a bad product that average workers are not buying. Why do I say that? The GOP is struggling to gain a majority with the Democrats melting down into a leftist gulag of craziness. How is it then that the GOP cannot capitalize on that?
Uh-huh.
Amen! And obviously too.
