UPDATE-Praise God!Gracie is literally teetering between better and worst. That is to say she could turn the corner for either way but right now Gracie and her baby boy are alive and that is awesome in itself!
As of today, The steroids they gave Grace to help with the baby’s lungs has raised Gracie’s blood sugars as expected so as I mentioned before she is now in the triage labor delivery ward- the good news is a dedicated nurse.
She has very high ketones which is causing her to feel really terrible. Only way to get rid of the ketones is more insulin and fluids but that is exasperating other issues.
She has fluid in the left lung causing pressure and pain and shortness of breath.
She is very weak and cannot stand on her own BUT the infection is getting better thank God!...now we need the swelling to disappear.
Again so appreciate your prayers and kindness!
Let our renown be the great LOVE that we have for each other.

Father have mercy.
What a struggle, poor Gracie. Prayers continue for this brave young lady and her baby. God bless.
If two or more are gathered in my name.........Still praying.

I am NOT being cynical when I say this is a “Jesus take the wheel” moment. When Man has done all he can — and the Bible is clear we have to do all we can within our limitations — then it is in the hands of the Lord.
I think having a lot of people praying helps a lot. When I needed comfort for loved ones ill and passing to God’s side the fact I had the FR family praying with and for me made a huge difference.
So, Lord, one last push to get our sister well and for strength and peace and a small corner of rest for the family.
