I see and hear a lot of talk about how a national gun registration and/or confiscation would be the trigger that would spark a second American Revolution, as patriots rise up to resist the jackbooted thugs who are going door-to-door taking away people’s arms.
I have bad news for everyone who’s waiting for national registration or a mass confiscation so they can get their armed rebellion on: a national database of gun owners already exists, and a national confiscation effort will never happen. Ever. Instead, you’ll hand over your firearms peacefully. All of them, even the ones you paid cash for to some random guy on Armslist in the dead of night.

Of course. That is why there are not shootings in Chicago. That is why there is 90%+ non-compliance with registration of semi-auto rifles in California, Maryland, New York, and Connecticut.
It has not happened, because they cannot do it.
Brazil has far less civil liberties and guns than the U.S. does. It has five times the murder rate.

Not necessarily. One thing is known. The rank and file peace officers of whatever organization are conservative. The same with the elite military combat units. And, since the end of the draft there’s an inter generational linkage between veterans and active duty military. In other words it’s the sons and daughters of veterans currently serving. And, these people are not going to turn on family. The Deep State knows this. So, this is the biggest deterrent to a gun grab.
That’s what we are up against. ....
So less than 10% of the people work for the federal government. They are going to take on 300,000,000 armed citizens that many are Veterans and sportsmen and patriotic Americans???? Think about it.

Do you think they can hold onto it when it is their wife or child that gets shot that day and everybody around them is blaming their attachment to the Second Amendment?
The fact of the matter is that there is not a politician in Washington, R or D, who would not be happy to see every American dis-armed.
And people who are going to die anyway would not initiate a conventional civil war, starting with taking down the power grid, petroleum infrastructure, and water supply why exactly?

Increasing the scan ability of these types of vehicles increases their visual profile and will make them a easy subject to be removed from service.

Damn, I think this guy has read some of my postings here, which are virtually the same thing he’s saying.
There will NOT be a starting line, with a guy shooting a gun up in the air, and saying “Let the Games Begin”. No, it will be much quieter. Maybe what he’s saying, or perhaps what I’ve been saying, or a combination of both of us.
What I’ve been saying is that once AR’s are outlawed, then people who own them will have to make a very tough choice: Do they continue to hold on to them, and risk being arrested on felony charges, or do they turn them in? Each case will be different. Does your wife know you have it? Is she a bitch? Is she a big mouth? Is she ready to move back to mom’s and serve you? How about the kids? Will they remember to NOT let the nice doctor know about them when he asks? How about when the schools play little games with their heads, such as asking everyone in class if they’ve ever touched a gun?
But, in the end, with a few high-profile jail sentences, 90% of the guns will be gone. The remaining 10%, that’s when some of the tactics mentioned here begin, starting with with a letter, then a bit more, etc. So maybe you lost them in a boating accident? Better hope they don’t pop up, say after a shooting, or a theft from your house, etc.
And the screws turn and turn...with very few guns left, then the dogs can come out and look around. But, no Mulan Lube, or whatever you guys call it...just a fairly quick ending of the Second Amendment.
