I bet he’ll get to buy it. And I hope so. It’s all US military and intelligence right now anyway, so we’re already renting it and that’s most of their income from it. There’s a few thousand Inuits and Danes there, but even with that, Denmark isn’t breaking even on it.
This could be a lovely new frontier for us. Set up a duty free zone and it could be the Andorra of the North, although with a hideous climate, which might then spur research into new technologies...the place is probably stuffed with geothermal energy, judging by its hot springs.
