President Trump on Sunday said that buying Greenland isnt No. 1 on the burner but quipped that Denmark may want the US to take the worlds biggest island off its hands to save money.
Well Greenland, I dont know, it got released somehow, its just something we talked about, Trump told reporters as he left his Bedminster resort to return to Washington, referencing a Friday Wall Street Journal article about the presidents flirtation with buying Greenland.
Denmark, essentially, owns it. Were very good allies with Denmark, we protect Denmark like we protect large portions of the world. And so the concept came up and I said certainly, strategically its interesting. And wed be interested.

He’s toying with them now. LOL
Best election ever!
Or he’s serious. It’s hard to tell sometimes. They probably have oil, gold, rare earth minerals and God knows what else under that snow and ice.

What a great place for a refugee camp.
Bingo!
Why wouldn’t the US want it? I think Trump is serious. Its a huge land mass, and with technology, the world is shrinking every day.
Since Denmark is actually paying people to take out mortgages, they might want to think about it.
Great place to train for the winter Olympic Games. Global-bs-Warming means we might find neat stuff under the ice there. Their people know how to fish and hunt. Tons of room for gun ranges. Mens hockey year around. I wish I had the money, Id buy it.
