People who vote don't matter.
People who count the votes matter.
As I read it they will be allowed to ship to FFL agents, who will (presumably for a fee) pass the ammo along to the purchaser.
It doesn’t matter whom one votes for. After they are counted, most will be for Democrats. In a just world, the Democrat Party would be considered a Racketeer Influenced Criminal Organization. And its members, career criminals.
All designed to disarm those who would resist their plans to enslave them in socialism.
You’re correct, I should have
clarified. It is possible for
an “out of state” friend to send
thru the mail. I wonder if the
USPS will be required to notify
law enforcement if some try this
route.
“”Last year, we told you about nine states that were non-compliant with the REAL ID Act: Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington. However, all of those states have received extensions from the government to introduce new enhanced security measures for their identification. Each of the nine states now has until October 10, 2017, to comply with the REAL ID Act.
The nine states join the 15 (yellow in the map below) that have yet to become compliant with REAL IDs requirements. In total, 27 states (and Washington, DC) are compliant with the law.

“”Can illegals get Real ID?””
Not in CA as CA is not a compliant state with the REAL ID law...as yet
My husband, daughter and myself got the REAL ID licenses (yellow star on license) on the last renewal of our licenses about 2 years ago. I went first as mine expired first but I hadn’t read what was mailed to me so I went there without the required documents under the new law, had to leave and return at another time taking my birth certificate with me. You then stand in line like at any other license bureau, someone checked the documents and you waited to be called. No long process to go through.
My husband by then (his birthday 4 months after mine) knew the documents he had to take with him BUT his birth certificate wasn’t sufficient as it did not have the State of CA seal on it. We had to order a state approved copy of it. That was strange as his original one had gotten him into the Air Force and security clearances on various jobs after discharge.
Our daughter had to go through the same process as my husband did as her birth certificate did not have the State of OH seal on it. Mine was the only one (from NY State) that had the state seal on it. The others were issued by the hospitals where they were born.
I would advise anyone in CA who is going for renewal of their licenses to make sure you take all the info with you and if you have a CA birth certificate to make sure it has the state seal on it. It’s really painless if you show up with the proper papers. Well, as painless as any DMV can be. We are in a different state now and truthfully, it went smoother here in GA than any renewal ever did in the state of CA even with the extra trip necessary on my part. That was my fault as I disregarded what was mailed to me. So big deal, my license is expiring - I knew that and didn’t read the enclosure..
Yet requiring an ID to vote disenfranchises the poor and minorities.
I have had a license here for 40+ years with picutres for the past oohhh...30?
what more do they need??
“”Yet requiring an ID to vote disenfranchises the poor and minorities.””
And like I posted earlier - those without the means of transportation to obtain an ID - even tho’ states have said they will go to the home of people to provide the photo ID for them but that wasn’t good enough either.
All to make the feds happy for reasons stated here:
“”The REAL ID Act establishes minimum security standards for license issuance and production and prohibits Federal agencies from accepting for certain purposes drivers licenses and identification cards from states not meeting the Acts minimum standards. The purposes covered by the Act are: accessing Federal facilities, entering nuclear power plants, and, boarding federally regulated commercial aircraft.””
That’s where this is headed.
What I want to know is what happens to the many thousands of Californians that don't have a copy of their birth certificates and never needed a passport?
Of course the work around to this is just going to a adjoining state and make your ammo purchases, it's will cost more in gas but to my mind that is offset by the cheaper price of ammo out of state, being able to freely exercise my rights and the cream on top............denying California it's extra fees and sales tax.
Anyone know what effect this bullshit has on reloading supplies, powder, primers and bullets?
Real ID only affects ammo in Cali, as far as I know. But it {or a passport) will alsobecome necessary nationwide for air travel and who knows what else in a couple of years.
The only way to win this rigged game is to cheat, sort of.
That is, to start a propaganda campaign that some protected class of people, say blacks, are going to have their guns seized by the state, to make them defenseless prior to mass arrests and imprisonment.
Granted this is just a crude idea, and would need to be embellished a lot to make it believable.
Now, just to exercise a fundamental right of American citizens some Californians will have to scramble, deal with government bureaucracies and lay out additional cash.
This whole load of BS from Newsom and the democraps is simply to inhibit law abiding citizens from freely exercising their Second rights.
As we all know this will do nothing to stop criminals from getting ammunition.
Star Model BM my friend.
I’m not saying you don’t understand the program.
I’m thinking more of how it can slide into a national ID for travel (as well as ammo), a la the Chinese social score system. And then, likely, be made harder for legal citizens than for aliens to navigate.
Ammo is the canary in the coal mine. It could apply to credit, rationed gas, etc.
