The image info says it is.
New law doesn’t apply to illegal aliens or criminals. The law was aimed at non-violent citizens. The goal is to take guns from non-violent normal people and leave guns in the hands of violent criminals. Working rather well.
Californians voted for this.
“California residents, facing a mandatory background check on ammunition sales starting in July, will need to bring an updated ID, passport or birth certificate with them to buy ammo. (Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com)”
yaaaaaaahhh, but ask someone to provide ID to VOTE????
Please kalifornia, feel free to &@*#& off!
KYPD
Gun owners should have been stockpiling ammo for years now.
NY gun owners should do the same.
There’s not a regulation that Cuomo and the dems have met that they didn’t love.
Drive to Reno. Pick up a few pallets. Come back and buy several guns from Ca dealers. Buy American made ammo and guns. Send a message.
OK, you need to turn yourself in to authorities.
That law does not apply to illegals.
Can you buy ammo on line????
Evidently illegals just have to present their EBT cards.
I resemble that remark, and am quite proud of it.
But God forbid they should have to show any kind of valid ID to vote in these tyrannical f****** who passed laws like this.
Requirements include:
Some proof of identity, such as a U.S. birth certificate, valid U.S. passport, employment authorization document, permanent resident card or foreign passport with approved form I-94.

Can you buy ammo online in CA?
Lucky Gunner is able to ship ammunition to California but starting in 2018, retailers can no longer legally ship to your door: All ammunition must be shipped to a Licensed Ammo Vendor in the state. ... However, these FFLs are only allowed to legally "import" ammunition to California for personal use.
In my state a buyer can order ammo and have it shipped directly to the desired address.
Lucky Gunner is just one of many, many vendors who will ship ammo.
SCOTUS ruled this was illegal decades ago. Someone sue.
What about dem po folks who can’t afford an I.D.? They’re being “disenfranchised” from being able to buy ammunition. This is a violation of their “human rights”.
Many people have, or will, reload their own ammo.
FREEDOM MUNITIONS has a notification about shipping to CA on their website. In CO Fedex drops 1k of 9mm on my porch. Actually I have been getting cheaper at Walmart, usually on way home from range. Always buy more than I shot.
Yep! I've learned, first-hand, that there is no "shelf life" for unopened cases of ammo... At least for 26-years of storage since BLOATing...
Maybe this can be challenged using the same arguments that they use to defend no ID to vote. This requirement disproportionally effects the poor, the elderly, and people with darker skin tones, as well as our new immigrant neighbors.
