I just cannot understand how those sitting in that Baptist church just kept sitting there. I know men, and I hope I am one of them, who would have stood and denounced the whole group.
And my children have seen us stand up and leave a service when we realized what the pastor was preaching. I have to answer to God about this, not to men and their political machinations.

In the Southern Baptist Convention there is local control, first the congregation should be demanding change either the deacons ir the members. If the individual church doesn’t change then their local association should expell them. The SBC is organized pretty well the opposite od the Catholic church
