Taking him off the ballot even in one state would essentially fix the election since it would ensure that the Dem nominee would get the majority of the popular vote and the electoral votes in all of the states where that has been made the deciding factor. It’s a Putinesque strategy. If you can’t win fair and square then ban your opposition.

Why were Russians talking about Cohen in Prague if Cohen was never there?
Were they fooled by the same cell phone ping? Or did McClatchy get taken in by multiple, unreliable sources, all of whom claimed to be independent?
At this point, it seems settled that Cohen wasn’t in Prague, but the question of why anyone thought he was remains an interesting mystery.

If so why was anyone looking for a “Micheal Cohen” in Europe in the first place?
I don’t know if it is but it certainly would open the door to fixing the election. I think that might be the Dems strategy though. They are trying to make the current system untenable so that we have no choice but to change it.

They're trying to set up a slam-dunk for killing the Elector College. If they get 65m votes to Trump's 35m, and yet Trump still wins, then "any rational person" would start calling the system "unfair".
It will affect turnout for the congress and local elections.
This needs to go to the SC stat.
We can’t even get states to keep ineligible candidates off ballots.
I would hope that “any rational person” would realize that millions did not even have the chance to vote for him, therefore the election itself was rigged and unfair.
